I begin a new adventure. A new chapter. It's sad to say this, but now that I have a mortgage and a grownup job - this may be my last LONG trip. Two months away from it all, surrounded by a plethora of accents. I may not be able to contain myself.
After a whirlwind of a relationship just a couple of months ago, I know I don't want anything serious. This time is about me and I'm not going to let myself get lost in a man ever again.
Last night I said goodbye to my rebound man. The thing is...I'm thinking about him today. I told him to have fun while I was gone, and I am certain I will have fun.... but who knows what will become of us when I get back. We are already exchanging emails. Little does he know, I plan on getting with at least one member of the Jamaican bobsled team ;)
My flight to Amsterdam was just cancelled and I'm stuck in Calgary. Last weekend I was here for my going away and met an eccentric poet at the bar. Long story short; we stayed in contact and he is taking me out for dinner tonight! Tall, lanky, recounts shakespeare from memory:) this is going to be a good night!
I'll update soon. But if I get laid three times in one week by two different guys, this will be a new record!
